Doug Aschenbach joined the Campus Partners staff in August 2001 as vice president for real estate development with responsibility for a series of urban development projects and neighborhood improvement initiatives, primarily in the University District.

Aschenbach, 42, came to Campus Partners with 16 years of commercial real estate experience.  Since 1994, he had been the sole proprietor of Guided Solutions, a commercial real estate consulting firm in Columbus.

Aschenbach was director of the real estate advisory division of W. Lyman Case & Company of Columbus from 1989-97.  Previously, he was vice president of Karsten Realty Advisors in Los Angeles from 1985-89 and a staff accountant with Price Waterhouse in Philadelphia from 1981-83.

He is a 1981 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.   He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985.   He lives in Victorian Village and has an interest in urban development and historic preservation.
