As they have regularly done for their other successful projects, the members of the Towne/Madison team will involve the community throughout the development process. The foundation for such involvement will be a +/-12 member South Campus Quarter Advisory Group which will include representatives from the University Area Commission, University Area Review Board, Campus Collaborative, University Community Business Association, Wexner Center for the Arts, the Council of Graduate Students, the Undergraduate Student Government, the City of Columbus, and other stakeholders committed to the improvement of the area. This Advisory Group will meet at least quarterly and can also convene at the initiative of its members to address issues of concern at any time. In addition, the Towne/Madison team will create a project web site which will enable all interested individuals to keep up with the progress of the development as well as to provide their input to insure its long-term success. Indeed, the Community Involvement Plan is already underway as many of the resource people identified in Appendix C of Campus Partners¹ Request for Proposal have already been interviewed for the preparation of our response to the RFP.
