Summary of Survey of Student Attitudes

Sponsored by Campus Partners Student Advisory Board

April 2002

The Campus Partners Student Advisory Board developed a survey of Ohio State students to determine their attitudes regarding High Street and its commercial activities. The Student Advisory Board is using the results to provide input as the University Gateway Center is developed and to better understand the concerns of their constituency.

This survey was conducted during the first two weeks of April 2002. All Ohio State students were invited to complete the survey on a secure Web site that required verification that the person is a student and prevented a person from completing the questionnaire more than once. A total 924 students completed the survey. Students were notified about the survey through "Lantern" advertisements, a notice in the Buckeye Net News, posters in CABS buses and in residence halls, table tents in the dining halls, and e-mail messages.

Most of the survey questions were based on a similar survey of Ohio State students conducted in February 1999. Click here for the results of that earlier survey.
