Campus Partners Board of Directors

From its inception in 1995, Campus Partners was governed by a Board of Trustees.  In October 2006, the existing governance structure for Campus Partners was dissolved and a new Board of Directors was appointed.  The change reflected a desire that the Campus Partners Board of Directors be a more engaged governing body for the organization with direct oversight of Campus Partners and its various activities.

The new Campus Partners Board of Directors has six “university directors” designated by the president of The Ohio State University and five “public directors” chosen by the members of the Campus Partners Board.  The “university directors” must be officers or employees of Ohio State.  The “public directors” are required not to be officers or employees of Ohio State.

The Board of Directors currently is seeking to fill two vacant positions for “university directors” and one vacant position for a “public director.”

The “university directors” are:

           Eric Kunz, Associate Vice President for Health Sciences;

           Hazel Morrow-Jones, Associate Dean of the College of Engineering;

           Bobby Moser, Vice President for Agricultural Administration and University Outreach;

           Thomas W. Johnson, Interim Treasurer of the University.

The current “public directors” are:

           Donna James, Columbus civic leader;

           Ellen Manovich, undergraduate student at Ohio State;

           Kathleen Fox, resident of the University District;

           Boyce Safford III, Director of the Columbus Department of Development;

The Board of Directors has elected the following officers of Campus Partners:

           Chair:  Bobby D. Moser

           Vice Chair:  Eric Kunz

           President:  Terry D. Foegler

           Executive Vice President:  Douglas L. Aschenbach

           Treasurer:  Douglas L. Aschenbach

           Secretary:  Robert Haverkamp

           Assistant Secretary:  Debra Hatzo

The Board of Directors has three standing committees:  Fiscal and Audit Committee, Investment and Asset Management Committee, and Planning and Community Development Committee.
