Doug Aschenbach, President

Doug Aschenbach is president of Campus Partners. He joined the Campus Partners staff in 2001 as vice president for real estate development. In 2006, he was promoted to executive vice president. The Campus Partners Board of Directors appointed him interim president in August 2008 and as president in April 2009.

Aschenbach, has directed the financial operations of Campus Partners; overseen the development, management and leasing of South Campus Gateway; and managed Campus Partners’ other property acquisitions and neighborhood improvement initiatives.

As president, Aschenbach succeeded Terry D. Foegler, who left Campus Partners in August 2008.  Terry now serves as Associate Vice President, Physical Planning and Real Estate for the Ohio State University and  as the Chair of the Campus Partners Board of Directors. 

Aschenbach came to Campus Partners with 16 years of commercial real estate experience.  Aschenbach was director of the real estate advisory division of W. Lyman Case & Company of Columbus from 1989-97. Previously, he was vice president of Karsten Realty Advisors in Los Angeles from 1985-89 and a staff accountant with Price Waterhouse in Philadelphia from 1981-83.

He is a 1981 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985.

Erin Prosser, Director of Community Relations

As Director of Community Relations, Erin Prosser is responsible for Campus Partners’ communications and public relations, particularly with Ohio State students, neighborhood leaders, stakeholders and residents, as well as the news media. She is also responsible for the promotion of South Campus Gateway.  Erin joined the Campus Partners team in April 2010. 

Prior to coming to Campus Partners, Erin was an Urban and Regional Planner with MSI Design, a landscape architecture, urban design and planning firm located in Columbus.  Before that she was the Long Range Planner for the Franklin County Economic Development and Planning Department.  Erin is a Columbus native and now resides in Italian Village.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Bowling Green State University in 2000 and her Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University in 2004.

Frank Bock, CPA, Finance Manager

Frank joined Campus Partners in July of 2010.  Frank provides the leadership for the finance and accounting functions.  His major responsibilities include the management of the annual financial audit, issuing monthly financial statements, preparing and analyzing various budgets and federal and state tax reporting.

 Prior to joining Campus Partners, Frank spent 10 years with a local lender, Developer’s Mortgage Company as Vice President of Construction Lending.  He later worked as a self-employed CPA as a financial consultant for small businesses in the Central Ohio area. Frank is a CPA in Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Franklin University.

Contessa Carr, Administrative Assistant

Contessa Carr has been the office manager and administrative assistant to the president of Campus Partners since late 2010.  Carr manages the office operations, assists with accounting and property management, schedules and organizes meetings and conferences and handles a variety of other administrative and clerical duties.  Carr has been a Columbus resident since September of 2001. Prior to coming to Campus Partners she worked for The Gateway Film Center where she saw the theater transition from welcoming its first customer in late 2005 all the way up to the 2010 addition of digital cinema.  She also worked for The Ohio State University Bookstore from 2007 to 2010.  It was her close association with South Campus Gateway that brought her to Campus Partners.
